Each team member has to perform 200m Partner Carry. One team member carries the other half of the way of our regular 400m route, switch roles on the way back. After every team member is done with the Partner Carry, team begins the Thruster/Burpee part - only one team members per movement at any given time. Finish with the Team Run - the clock stops with the last team member finishing the run.
Turkey Trot: On the morning of November 24th, we are going to go on a casual run from CrossFit Long Island City into Manhattan to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Last year Jonathan and Keri introduced us to this trot that they have been doing for 8 years now.
We will leave at approximately 8:30am and stay together as a group so the pace will be moderate. Our route will take us over the 59th Street bridge, into Central Park (5th Avenue and 66th Street), where we will jog up to the West Side around 72nd Street. From there we will venture a bit north to 75th Street where we will have a great view of the parade. Get your morning workout in before you stuff yourself with some nice yummy holiday food!
