CrossFit Foundations

 

Free Intro Class (optional) 

 

Note: you can skip this step and jump straight into our Foundation Program or purchase private training.

 

Not sure about CrossFit? Try it before you make your decision. We know that once you have attended a class you will agree that not only is it a great workout, but it’s also a lot of fun. You must sign-up for the Free Intro Class. Currently these classes run on most (unless it conflicts with an event) Saturdays at 9:00am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Please check current schedule here to make sure the class is taking place. Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign the waiver. Each class will consist of a brief introduction to our training, group warm-up, skills & drills section in which we will go over and practice the skills to be used in the workout, and the workout itself. Anyone can do these workouts! We will help you scale the movements according to your abilities.

 

Foundations Program 

 

If you are a new or relatively inexperienced CrossFit athlete, we recommend you to start with either our Group Foundations or a Private Foundations Classes.

 

Group Foundations is a four-week, three times per week course that covers the fundamentals of CrossFit, the essential movements, proper technique, scaling and nutrition. You’ll practice the movements that make up our workouts, learn how to scale those movements appropriately to your level, and start ramping up your fitness with a CrossFit workout at the end of each class. We require attendance at 10 out of 12 classes. If you miss any more classes, those MUST be made up privately as a one-on-one with a coach at an additional cost of $50 per session.

Private Foundations. You may choose to do the Foundations privately with a coach at the times and dates that work for you and your coach. This will give us the opportunity to talk with you individually about nutrition, your goals, go over our fundamental movements, as well as some of the more technical olympic lifts and ensure that you feel comfortable with the program before jumping into training with other athletes. Private Foundations consist of 6 sessions. You must finish all 6 classes within one month.
Cost:
1-on-1: $450 ($75 per class)
1-on-2: $300 ($50 per class per person)

Test-Out 

 

If you are a seasoned CrossFitter or an athlete with the background in some other sport and you believe that you can jump straight into our group classes, this session is your chance to test out. Be prepared to perform a number of tests on basic gymnastics, powerlifting and olympic weightlifting movements as well as answer some questions on nutrition and the theory behind CrossFit (hint: the three articles above would help.) This is a 30-minute complementary session. Email us at info@crossfitlic.com to schedule your test-out session.

 

CrossFit Group Classes

 

Crossfit Group classes are challenging, fun, and will definitely give you the best workout of your life. Once you have completed either private or group Foundations, you can purchase one of our memberships and start coming to any of our regular CrossFit Group Classes. NOTE: All our memberships auto-renew monthly until changed or cancelled. We require two-weeks notice for cancellations.
